About Me: I am the oldest of six children and a native of Arizona. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was involved in as many activities as I could fit into a high school schedule including: marching band, symphonic band, cross-country, basketball, track and honors classes. I served in the Edinburgh Scotland mission and love the Scottish people and culture. I have been a leader in the boy Scouts of America for the last 5 years. I am currently a Scout Master for the 12 and 13 year old boys. I have a love of music and have played the clarinet, tuba, and am practicing the guitar. Being a father has given me a new level of happiness. I hope to pass on my hobbies and talents to our children and win their hearts through quality time with them. (scroll down for more information)

Mary's thoughts about Merrill: Here’s what you should know about Merrill. He is a man’s man! He goes on campouts once a month with the boy scouts and has been for the last 5 years. He loves all that kind of boy stuff, cooking outdoors getting dirty, hiking, making knives and roughing it. Merrill enjoys what I call experimental cooking. If we don’t have the ingredient he will find something else to replace it with or if he thinks something sounds good he will add it in the dish even if it doesn’t call for it. Sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s not. Merrill can fix just about anything that is broken and sometimes he can even do it McGyver style. It won’t be long until Maxwell will be joining Merrill in these activities and start learning from all of Merrill’s talent. One of the many things that make Merrill so great are his awesome listening skills which will help win the hearts of our children.
